We take care to insure that your selections are wrapped, packaged and shipped in an attractive and secure manner. For Olive Oil, Balsamic, and Skin Care products we use UPS Ground.
Heat-sensitive chocolates are delivered in insulated containers with reusable cold packs. From mid-October through March we also ship chocolates via UPS Ground when standard deliveries are within a one to three-day period. For longer distances, we use expedited, UPS 2nd Day delivery. From April through mid-October, heat-sensitive chocolates are shipped via 2-day delivery. Standard shipping is not available for heat-sensitive items during this period. We decline any responsibility for chocolates melted during transport and when there is no one to receive them.
Each order is carefully packaged to minimize damage to contents and ensure freshness. This includes the use of a cold ice wrapper and secure packing. To prevent melting or discoloration, we recommend that all chocolates be kept cool (63F-66F) and stored in appropriate conditions upon receipt. Should you decide to refrigerate, please place in a re-sealable type of bag or container and let it warm up to room temperature prior to opening. A product that is made with care should be handled with care.
